The Ab Flyer is hard to describe, but you kneel on a small, blue platform and use your arms and upper body to pull yourself up and back, engaging your abs all the while. In effect, it looks much like a sit-up except that you are upright instead of lying down on the ground.
One of the advantages of this product is that for people who have bad backs or have trouble doing sit-ups, it is an easy way to get the abdominal workout that you need without hurting yourself in the process. Also, because you are doing your workout to a DVD, you will be more motivated to continue with it, well after your abs start getting sore.
